On 3 Feb 2015, an agreement between GRP & Tangshan’s Kaiping District Govt was signed, giving GRP first rights of refusal for the project in exchange for resolving XinYe’s (steel factory which sits on target land) bankruptcy issues.

In April 2016, GRP successfully tendered for 165mu industrial land, and is in the midst of converting land for commercial use. The land acquisition for the rest of the land remains an ongoing process.
